Publishing is a partnership

We’ve been working for almost a year, getting Snow Cannon Games off the ground and I’m extremely pleased with the team that we’ve managed to assemble. I truly believe that this team can do so much to get great games on the market!

We’ve had a lot of discussions on what a publisher is and what type of publisher we should be. What we see as one of the most important conclusions from these discussions is that we want to act as a partner with the game studios we work with, not a vendor.

We’ve listened to a lot of frustration from game developers who feel they lost control of their game, and didn’t get the one-on-one attention they were looking for, after signing with a publisher. We believe that each development studio has unique needs and a good publisher must be flexible in structuring its relationships to meet these needs. Because, only together can we create commercial successes.

We recognise that some game developers may need more help with marketing than game QA, while others may need less marketing help but a lot of guidance with monetization strategy, and so on. We take pride in our ability to acknowledge this, as well as the skillset we have in house to identify these specific needs no matter the genre or platform.

Visibility has become a serious challenge in today’s market. To become a commercial success you need to have a strong marketing strategy, deep understanding of the market and a well polished great game.Choosing us as a publisher, is choosing a partner who can overcome these challenges to cross the finish line successful, defiant and hand-in-hand.
